Located in Jersey City Heights, the scope of work called for a zoning analysis to confirm whether this lot would be allowed to build an additional level.

The scope of work also called for a full facade redesign and renovation. The existing facade consists of a block wall with a parged stucco surface. The re-design called for a more modern, cost effective facade, while allowing large amounts of light to enter the interior space.

​

Three iterations were presented to the client for approval. The first option consisted of just a facade redesign. The second and third options both consisted of integrating an additional level and roof garden with views out to the city.
